I think they are finally saying enough is enough and will make some serious changes to the bottom of the freeway- no more people need to die on that stupid stretch of road. I am surprised there are not more bad accidents there. Its a *beep* of an intersection, and the whole down hill bit is very poorly designed. Its also bad that it takes this kind of accident for a company to decide to check their trucks over for roadworthiness.I feel for you and your friends family. MA91CK billet turbos and weathered engines dont mix Donating Members 1,346 Member For: 12y 8m 5d Gender: Male Location: Wollongong Posted 23/08/14 08:18 AM Share Posted 23/08/14 08:18 AM got under the car today to do the bell housing boltsup. In theory, if everything is lined up ( like it was ) you should be abe to do the bolts up and it will pull together right? wrong. to 2 on the left side partially in, started doing the bottom and side. Got pretty tight but I figures its a big unit of course it will get tight. The result? the sump letting go, blew my socket off the ratchet, smashed my finger to a point that it blew straight up so I don't know wether its broken or just swollen, and I managed to break the bottom section of sump clean off the sump itself where it bolts to the gearbox. Why t did it I don't know, but it refuses to go in the last 15 ml just on that side. sending it to a mechanics, they can sort it out
