Unless you're talking about things being loaded with sugar and salt in lieu of fat, then yeah that's an issue. Three macro-nutrients that make up all foods. Protein, fat and carbohydrates. Body needs all three to function - if you completely cut out one of them you'll be pushing up daisies in no time. If you can be bothered do some research on the "if it fits your macros" diet. Works on the theory that you can eat practically anything as long as your total intake for the day matches your target levels of each three macros. Most dieticians have followed the same theory for ever but the IIFYM 'fad' has taken it mainstream and is the only diet that makes sense. The whole clean eating thing is a load of crap too. E.g. have a chick here at work that lives on quinoa and chia and whatever other random sh*t is fashionable, and is the sickliest being I've come across.
