Haha, I never said I haven't/don't feel it's needed at times...

GF is more of a "reinforce positive behaviours" kinda of person...so I feel like we provide a good balance lol.

did you at least ask her the next question...

"how do you reinforce positive behaviours without contrast with either ignoring or punishing bad behaviours"?

So does removing their movie privileges. Farken worked wonders this evening.

Give em something good to start with and take it away when they aren't well behaved.

Coz otherwise the dickheads will bark and annoy the neighbours. Plus, our dog is an inside dog - he doesn't shed at all, so doesn't leave the house full of hair, which is his saving grace. He'd be an absolute pest (more than he already is) if we left him outside at night.

I like to feel I'm quite resilient...the broken sleep is what scares me the most about having kids, as I'm not really a great sleeper as it is. Like, getting up to let the dog out the other night - I woke up to the first alarm and then was pretty much awake the rest of the night...

mate my daughter hasn't slept since day one, coming up to 3 in a few months.

I used to be a deep sleeper with my trade so would sleep like a brick all the time, now my body and brain is used to just getting a few hours. the body adapts to it.

dont be scared.
