I used all the Mal wood lines, CSC and master cylinder.
Just the Xtreme clutch itself was used.
Really annoyed that it was the line that went.

Yeh that’s fair average indeed

could be the fact your CSC spacing is incorrect and once fully extened piston on the CSC is maxed out of the pressure plate fingers the fluid has nowhere to go and blew out the line ?

how many shims do you have behind the CSC ? On FG I find x1 1mm one is perfect ?

Was 1mm.

Next question is how much better is the NPC twin plate race kit over the Xtreme twin plate race kit?

I know the NPC has the centre hub so there's no chance of twisting the input shaft with it, asides from that what's the go? More clamping pressure than the Xtreme (1350kg I believe)

Any specs you'd care to share jet?

I know the Xtreme is gonna be a heap cheaper so unless there's something brilliant about the NPC I'll get another Xtreme kit.

Was putting the car up on stands and it swung very slightly as I was jacking for the third stand. (Pivoted on the one wheel that was on the ground and I think I had slightly lifted it off one of the other stands). I was well out of the way as always and the car didn't drop or anything, but the corner of the front bumper tagged the roller door guide. Bar will need a spray now.

I guess when you DIY, the thousands you save offset any occasional stuff ups. Still pretty pissed at myself though.

That sucks. I reversed my car into a pole in my backyard a couple of years ago. It barely scraped the rear guard but enough to get through to the primer.

Funny thing is the reverse sensor was going off and I couldn't see anything so I was like wtf is going on...then I touched it.

Not as bad as yours though mate.
