Plus parts. :ermm: What parts. Hahaha.

I'm pretty sure the materials would be included in that over priced quote.

Funkn rouge.

Not a chance, as I said cable is the best way us sparkies charge up

that call out is dirt cheap for a PH

anytime ive gone for a call out on a regular mid week job its a minimum $500 bill before I get out the car, add a PH you can double it ;)

mind you if it was our fhuck up no way in hell would we try and charge a thing as that's just bad form

Puff, have a re-think. Crawling around inside roofs suck. Especially in +30c.

Haven't stripped a wire in over 20 years ( not really true I do minor stuff).  I kept changing professions looking for the bucks. Finally cashed in...............

Bet its a loose connection at the breaker , or 4mm for the circuit and 2.5mm from the main switch to the A/C breaker

From what ive read here and been told. I say they have used 2.5mm and not a 6mm and a Amp that cant hod the power levels to run the A/C.

Sparky said should run 42A.

The breaker was fine (for the wiring) as it didn't trip.

The wiring was too thin for the load and heated up and burnt.

Take a look at the current rating on the plate on the A/C, what does it say. 42A is a large load. Does the unit run the whole house. The large units are usually 3 phase.
