This doesn't look good. on exhaust side. I'll hold my breath cause there is a weep from the o-ring behind the water pump. car isn't overheating and has lost stuff all coolant (haven't topped it up for months).

if that trail starts to get bigger, then start to worry about it, imho... for now, just keep an eye on the coolant level.

So my housemates cracked the sh*ts today about me wanting to move out asap and then tried to say I owed them extra money to cover a third of our other housemate's rent who'd recently moved out...except that I'm already paying a third of the rent anyway, so I told them to get farked. So they gave their notice to the real estate agents and are saying they'll be out by the end of the week...

I ended up giving my notice also (we're on a periodical lease, so only have to give 21 days notice), coz they've got dogs so pet bond plus all the other crap, it'll just make things a whole lot more simple if I move out at the same time. So now I've only got 3 weeks to find a new place to rent. I'm not actually overly gutted about that, as I've gotten to a point where I wanted to move out on my own anyway (sick of living with other people and in crappy house that depresses me)...but just brings my timeframe forward considerably. So here's to hoping I find myself somewhere nice before then, otherwise I guess I'll have to throw all my stuff in storage and crash at a mates or something until I find a new place.

That's :pooh:, mate...

Just my opinion, but having lived in share houses for ages and had to deal with all sorts of personalities to live with... it's easier to fork over a few hundred here and there than try to deal with people's issues and just let them be...

Hopefully you can find a place asap :spoton:

Definitely agree with you there Keify! I was in a very different financial position when I moved into this place compared to where I'm at now. I was in a bunch of debt at the time so the intention was cheap rent to then allow me to pay off my debts and get some savings up for a house...I've now paid off all my debts, paid off my HECS and have $40k savings. So the house has done its job, but I'm so done with living with people.

It's a really crappy house, gets bullsh*t hot in summer and definitely not the sort of place I'd pick myself, but they were already living here when I moved in and it was real cheap. Living with a couple and their two dogs can eat a big bag of dicks. So keen to move out, the extra cost of renting by myself will be so worth it, even if just for the fact I won't have to put pants on when leaving my bedroom haha.

Good luck with it mate... as for your house mates.... id tell em to beat it to farking knobs.
Yup, pretty much what I told them. The fact that they can't afford to live together without someone else subsidising the rent means they're living significantly outside their means to do so, so I'm done supporting them.

Gutters always a classy option?
Could just roll my swag out somewhere and I'd be sweet...missus would probably be less impressed though
