The service itself has done this same thing once before (just before x-mas last year and was fixed within 2 days). This time I reported a couple of other little niggles to the rental agency and they're "waiting for approval from the landlord"... it's a tad annoying.

Ha, sounds like our landlord. Although, I'd be pressing a little harder about the hot water issue WELL before 4 weeks though, dude! Our landlord is notoriously stingy, but they had our hot water system sorter within a couple of days after it completely died.

God I can't wait to own my own place...

  • failure or breakdown of any essential service or appliance provided by a landlord or agent for hot water, water, cooking, heating, or laundering

If you request urgent repairs, your landlord or agent must respond immediately. If they do not, there are a number of steps you can take to have an item repaired:

  • If a repair is urgent and you are not getting a prompt response from your landlord or agent, you can authorise the repair for up to $1800.

Keef, if only your car could post on here, listing all the evidence and proof and reasons that it'll never get up and running...

Reverse psycology, you'd be tearing off the tarp this arvo mate ;)

Or would you just argue with it lol

:mosking: that's another exponent of my laziness... maybe my laziness isn't so weak in comparison to my critical thinking nature... haha
