What's usual labour time for drop and reinstall rear cradle? Just got quoted 8 hours! At $140 per hour. Were quoting on rear clunk (but diff bushes already done previously). Came out with a quote for all 4 shocks and every rear end bush. Which one is causing the clunk? Ahhhhmate it would be a combination of all of them. That labour is just for the cradle in and out - was more hours for installing all the new stuff.

For some reason "Ralph reckons he can do two in a morning" was lost on them.

My diff bushes were done for 600

Who quoted you that? If that's truly labour to r&I the cradle that's absurd.

3 to 4 hrs is ample time to r&I and replace the 3 diff mounting bushes.

Yep $140 n hour is taking the piss. Around 100 us far more reasonable. And if they are going to take 8hrs to do it it should be $50 an hour coz the bloke is obvious farking useless

Capital Suspension and Steering in Canberra. When I queried the labour, they said the cradle remove and reinstall was 8 hours alone, and shock installs required a helper!

Plus they were mega rude to another customer who came to collect his car at agreed time, but it wasn't ready. Basically yelled at him and said it wasn't their fault and they couldn't control what happened in the workshop. True, but you could give the guy a call...

My car still missing after a re-flash, fixing the intake and new turbo oil line, farking thing!, coils next I guess... this idea of my tuner being 4 hrs away is painful.

If you just had it tuned it's quite a common problem to have a few days/hours after being tuned. Happened to me and another tornado owner the day after a tune. New coils n bobs you uncle
