I heard an awesome one today on the radio.

'May help you achieve your target weight when combined with regular exercise and reduced calories'.

Oh and double post I know. But I heard that on the radio about 2 minutes before I hit a cyclist.

Well to be fair. I hit his bike. With my car. Not him.

And it further clarify it wasn't intentional! (Even though that's crossed my mind from time to time).

Anyway made lucky by the fact that I actually tool the time yesterday evening to install my dash cam that has been in a box for over 6 months.

I was following the wife to have another Crack at 5 kids in a cafe (because we were both going stir crazy with them all in the house). Dodge little narrow back road that I don't like taking a car on so I imagine the lycra wearing f*cktard actually wanted to get hit.

He was riding about 1m away from the edge of the road wife slowed to about 70 (100 zone) and pulled out and went around him. I waited a few seconds longer and as I started to pull out and accelerate a car came the other way over a crest.

So I hit the skids and went to pull back in behind the cyclist right as he also hit the skids and moved further into my lane to dodge a pothole. So I really jumped on the anchors putting the little WRX's brakes to full use and gave him a bit of a love tap on his back tyre.

Which caused him to fall off.

He rolled around like a soccer player for a while. Police were called. They viewed the dash cam footage in the car with me before taking it.

To give you an indicator of how gentle the love tap was. It didn't even buckle the back rim of his bike.

Don't get me wrong. It could have been disastrous. Especially if I had of attempted to still pass him without giving him sufficient room.

End of the day he's alive. I'm alive. We all got a fright. Now he's being a complete khunt about it.

Well, at least you have evidence and nobody was hurt. Doesn't matter how much of a khunt he is about it.

Did the wife make it to the cafe without you?

Well she made it to the cafe then realised there was about 6 missed calls from me so she turned around.

The police were great. Just from looking at the footage they don't think I've done anything wrong.

And there I was complaining about beef jerky being stuck between my teeth.

On a side note I traveled through the Adelaide hills yesterday with my trailer to collect wood from a private block.

I passed half a dozen cyclists and had to slow down to 10kph a few times to pass them safely up the hill.

Going normal, legal speeds up montecute road could well cause a cyclist ko.

Fhark cyclists in Adelaide hills

Hope they all sh*t themselves

Litterally

It shouldn't be allowed in any hills in Adelaide

Worst idea ever

For those not in the know

Hills = one lane each way which are narrow even with two small cars

Add a cyclist with no room and them feeling as if they own the road= assholio time

There's no room for u asshole go home

Panda

Fhark him

He's a karnt

when I was a child, we were taught at school that single file on a push bike was the order of the day on roads.

It really pisses me off that the QLD powers that be see fit that these dumb ass cyclists are allowed to ride 2 abreast no matter what the road/traffic conditions are.

I see them every sunday as I am driving to church, wobbling all over the road into my path, too busy thinking they are in some tour de France race.

When they wobble into my path I always give them some on the horn, and 9 out of 10 times it will be met with abusive gesticulations and language.

There has been a cyclist safety campaign here in QLD, and we as car drivers are supposed to give cyclists 1.5 meters of space, no campaign for cyclists to be riding single file.

As a consequence, the car driver is always the bad guy  -   poor little cyclist hit by some out of control driver.

Bloody cyclists
