Should have seen how many Couriers we went through thanks to me being home 24/7 and the lazy cnts not wanting to walk up ten steps to ring the bell! Given every house in Townsville is almost off the ground but you either do the job properly or don't fcking do it at all as there is always someone else lined up to take your spot...

It's funny as every courier service (except for Pack and Sent the useless fcks) are excellent atm especially Fastway as they delivered my huge oil vacuum pen!s pump to me today at 7.30am!

My brother the Napoleon syndromed fcktard had me raging the other day and I still have the shakes about. So much so I made an entrance way downstairs to try and release some anger to little effect

Left Nice on the train to Ventimiglia Today, change of trains at the French/Italian border to go to Genoa.

Tickets cost 60 euro for both of us yesterday, bloody train strike in Italy today!!!!

We are over an hour early thankfully and manage to get a "stops at all stations train" the last one for the day at 9:45 am.

We get 3/4 there and the conductor comes through the train to tell us all that the next stop is the last, and the train ant goin no further!

So here we are stuck at Sevona, which is about 60 klms short of our destination.

By this stage I'm starting to stress, are we ever going to get to Genoa today?

Next thing an Italian woman speaking good English wants to know if we would share a taxi to Genoa for 25 euro per person, 4 of us in total (she already had an Italian guy in) so for 50 euro we got to Genoa.

Turns out she spent a holiday in Perth at cotteslow beach, me and my wife lived there in 1993, lol.

Had to then get a bus from the city center to the airport to pick up our hire car that we had booked for the next 6 days.

It was all a bit like the the movie, planes, trains and automobiles.

Finally made it to our destination, Verona at about 6 pm, wallet feeling a bit lighter, but still in one piece, man wot a day!!!!

Is that your fridge turned 90 degree's ?

Yes, the front of the All Fridge is facing the orange weight bench. Those and all that other "Sh!t" has been stacked in that corner for years...Time today to start chucking out empty boxes as I'm never fcking moving again after 20+ years, 15 postings, 11 moves from Darwin to Sydney and almost back I finally have my own house so the wife can go married separated if she's posted again now! No wonder I hate the fcking military...

Thanks for dredging that up Wilko...lol

My Nonna has pneumonia, which is particularly bad given she had pulmonary fibrosis and the doctors have indicated she may not make it through this :(

Thanks Buf. Unfortunately there's only 4 of us (Nonna, mum, step-dad and I) out here. I feel so sorry for her though, she's pretty much been bed ridden for the last couple of years now. Can't walk anymore really coz of the pulmonary fibrosis (her lungs are going hard and she can't get enough oxygen in so is on oxygen fulltime and gets short of breath extremely easily, even just with talking these days). She can't hear now unless you literally put your mouth to her ear and shout, she's stone deaf in the other ear too. She can't see as a result of macular degeneration. Poor thing can't do anything she used to enjoy doing, mainly cooking and entertaining. It's such a drawn out and undignified way to go...
