I'm just here for the show - couldn't give a sh*t one way or the other regarding gay marriage, but the fireworks are head shakingly good to watch.

The self righteous vocal minorities on both sides give me the sh*ts, so it's enjoyable to watch them both getting over the top upset about something.that doesn't affect me, rather than something that does.

Am sure that once the air's out of this "argument" they'll all move on to something I do have an interest in :(

The issue with gay marriage is not if someone truly loves another, that is already established, the issue is changing the moral laws that the God of the bible has laid down in black and white.

Like it, or not (that is your right) history revolves around the God of the bible.

Either Jesus Christ is real and is truly God in the flesh and did all things stated in the bible (also documented by secular historians) or is the greatest hoax of all time!

Australia is built upon the Christian principals and morals found in the bible (which is also your right to like or not) and one of those Christian principals is marriage. Here lies the problem for the homosexual.

Homosexuality over the past few decades has been trying very hard to present itself as a normal, it is truly a worldwide movement which is quite astonishing considering the homosexual population in Australia alone, is a very small minority of 1.2%.

If the homosexual movement can gain the recognition of marriage and ultimately marriage in a church, then this for them will be God's approval on their choice.

Here's where I'm going to get into even more strife, ☺ the God of the bible does not condone marriage between same sex couples, he condemns them, so much so that he destroyed a whole city and it's inhabitants, Sodom, which we get our modern day word of Sodomy from.

so shoot me down all you like, as you may or may not have guessed, I am a Christian and I believe there is only one true God, and that is the God of the bible.

If you've read the bible, in its entirety, there are two ways u can interoperate it, literal, or metaphorical, and either way your believing in statements made and translated through so many language barriers and time barriers etc etc etc.... And u still believe in it... Then good on u and your weak state of mind and lack of integrity, guts and morals to be able to question the story.... Hey the world need followers and idiots to survive so I'm not knocking anyone.... I just am of the opinion that majority of religious people have a weak personality, an easily influenced mind and a lack of balls basically to contemplate the world without any answers, to think outside the box, to question not only what others believe, but they them selves believe, to live daily in a world where they are not strong enough and can aknowledge that they may not know the answers, And may I say, if u have exhausted all options, and I mean all!!!! Studied Buddhism, Hinduism, etc etc and come to the same conclusion and believe the word of God and the bible the right path then I retract all my statements.

I think that it has been proven on many aspects that both sides are true and tbh .... After reading the bible,,.. I do not want to go to whatever judgemental and horrible place they call heaven... And I certainly do not want to answer to some karnt who is sadistic enough to create a world with pedophiles and sick twisted karnts and subject our children and for that matter adults to this. Make people suffer eternally for decisions they had no power on, make families suffer, and famine and torture occur.... Yea u can justify this in anyway, natural disaster and culling is needed etc etc but I feel that anyone who could stand by and watch this occur under their control in this sadistic manner should be shot .... And by our own standard of living in today's society would basically be.... But God.... Well...we heard a bunch of wikid stories about him so I'm sure he's ok to be accessory to murder, watch pedos molest children, and do nothing, watch people suffer and die the most painful ways, and just sit there, do nothing and smile because they will repent later when they're on my door step asking to be let into heaven but all the while Judge us for standing by and letting the same offences happen ... Tell me that isn't a sadistic Karnt right there .... Biatch please... Oh and don't even try the "but God created people and we did this to ourselves" one .... Coz that's crapola... No one with a heart can think that, no one with a soul can watch another innocent child Starve to death or die for the sake of greater good or whatever u religious wankers justify to yourselves at night, after you've been raped, murdered or molested or had it happen to your children I dare u to feel the same, I dare u to tell me that a caring loving god who only wants the best for his children would even be ok with that! Now u can shy away from homosexuality because u don't understand it, because u don't like it, or because u shame it, because someone, maybe your dad or mum, maybe a friend or maybe a stranger, has suckered u into a belief of a greater being. Someone who makes your life make sense because it all adds up now.... Because how could there not be an answer to the worlds problems and out myth of creation...

But homosexuality It is something that your are born with, it is a mental state, it's your identity, it's your preference. And as much as straight men have their triggers so do gay men and women. You cannot help what your attracted to in this world, hey I married jet, and contrary to most women's thinking I can't stand ripped guys, give me manly beef cakes all day,. Did I choose to like that? NO. It's just what I like... And I cannot help that because it is who I am ... It's my make up.... It's what goes through my veins and as important as the blood that runs through me.

And what makes it right to say that my values, preferences and loves are wrong? What if you Christians and Catholics are wrong and the Jehovah's Witness that are about the let their kid die for the sake of no blood transfusion are right? Well now that's ridiculous isn't it... Because once something "radical" comes into religion it makes everyone think that those people are deluded and they should give up their beliefs because they're ruining and killing a life. But what about living your life as a lie? That's ok? Telling yourself your straight because God won't love u if your gay? That's totally fine? Yea different severities I know but same principal. No one cares about that.

And if God does exist .... And I don't know the answer .... But if he does I believe that a God who created us all must love all his children and won't care whatever your black, white, gay straight, or whatever your sexual preference is .... But will be appalled at those who discriminate and twist his story to suit their own agenda and made it gospel....

But I also am not afraid to admit I know basically none of life's answers other then my own truths ... And I am proud to say I treat everyone equal ... And a God who doesn't believe in that is not a god I want to, or believe is worthy to worship.!

I don't judge , unlike religious folk, and I even love you ignorant people but that's just my humble opinion and I'm probably wrong... But everyone's entitled to one ye?
