Suction cup mount failed. Checked it as I always do and felt secure as. Slowly fed in and nailed it coming on to an on ramp and it gave up. We had live view on the at the time so my Son knew approximately where it fell off. By the time I was able to get back to it (about 5-10 minutes) then spent the next 45 minutes looking for it, somebody had run over it also :( Only thing I salvaged was the SD card. To rub salt in, the file was corrupted also.

My suction cap let go when I was at Calder last year -- after run 4

Lucky it was on the return road and I was only doing about 10k's but I had an external Mic plugged into it so it only fell as far as the 'slack' in the cable.

Put a mark on the paint where it hit but that buffed out.

I've messaged them but don't hold out much hope. Meant to be rated to 150mph - pffft. Really disappointed. Got a track day this Sunday. Given the mount is gone also it's around a $500 process to replace :( could go through insurance but I think that's my excess anyway. Think I'll be without for a looong time unfortunately.

Even though the mount is rated to crazy speeds. The fine print (at least on the go pro 2) states a safety cable should be used.

Awesome sig is awesome.

WPMO?

Injury prone lately.

Fell off a retaining wall yesterday.

Splitting wood for fire today, axe deflected and used my ankle to stop.

Safety pluggers weren't safe.
