Never done that before! Terrible luck dude.My gran handed her license in willingly a year ago or so, she said it hurt bad to do that and still does, but she didn't feel she was a safe driver any more.I like the suede suggestion Tab Edited 20/01/15 05:05 AM by -Stever-

Especially given you just sold the other car, now this one needs fixing :( if you can push for full respray then I'd be going for it!The previous owner had let some Sap or Bird poo dry on the car and it stuffed the clear in a couple of spots on the boot, The clear on the roof could also use a decent cut or possibly wet sand and reclear and it has the usual FPV underside bumper rubs.So Boot/roof/bumper/rhs to match the paint. Might as well get the whole f'n thing painted. My gran is 87 and drives a skyline...It's the best fuck you to society I've ever seen..Is she able to distinguish between the road and other cars? Detailer is here today to do the paint protection and even tried wet sanding a section of the boot lid to see if that could get the peel out and nope...she's deep and fully hectic peel...so well done on that one Holden...needs more suede maybe... On the plus side the paint is fairly thick (for factory paint) and hard as fark apparently...Dale reckons it's almost like European style paint (which is good), orange peel aside. Anybody else remember that blog of the detailer that bought a brand new xr5 (I think) in the uk and basicaly drove it home and went full OCD spec on the paint and buffewd all the orange peel out?The difference between it and stock pain was amazing. My detailer reckons he COULD have kept going deeper and got all the peel out, but it would take 2 days of wet sanding and at which point there wouldn't be enough clear left to protect against the sun etc...so it'd fade and deteriorate. No doubt the difference would be huge, factory paint on most cars is fairly average. Dale reckons even the euros and exotics have average paint compared to aftermarket.

I also removed the aluminium tray so they would not have to
