it's all work, it all has responsibility attached, it all requires some skill and concentration. It's all the same to me.

If I'm brutally honest, when I was doing sh*t labourer's work it was actually easier, because physically I don't get exhausted, but mentally, I do, occasionally.

^ I'm with stupid..

I spent many years working in a bakery.. Extreme heat... Etc etc.. Not exactly easy work..

Now I sit at a desk.. Can do 16-20 hours a day.. It's fecking exhausting..

Minimum 12 hour days, 8 days at a time. Yes, I sit in front of a computer for the majority of the time now, but that wasn't the car a year or two ago yet I was still doing the same hours. And I agree with Keith, the long hours were less of an issue when I was in a less technically demanding role. I have a lot more responsibility now and have to provide training and mentorship to more junior employees, not to mention I'm in charge of running the department when my manager is offsite.
