Condolences Scotty. My pooch is on slow decline, im dreading the day. I've found a vet that will come to the house and euthanaise him at home. He'll be checking out in his favourite spot im the backyard.

I've only had cats as personal pets up until now and those were hard to say goodbye to, but the dog is going to absolutely break my heart when she goes, just so much closer a connection. Hopefully not even a third of the way there yet though, had her five years. Not much can cheer you up after a hard day like a dog, always happy to see you!

Condolences.

Sorry to hear kimbo.

Grew up on a farm and was surrounded by death, but nothing compares to going through that with a pet. And is the key reason why I haven't got another.

All the best Kimberley

Definitely a painful time

My thoughts often stray back to Bandit - an absolute gem of a dog that passed over a decade ago.

As painful as losing them is - I wouldn't trade the memories or experiences of having him in my life for anything.

I like to think they'd feel the same way.

Thoughts with you Kimberley. It's amazing how close get to dogs. Already been mentioned, but it's always so nice coming home to a dog all excited to see you.

Not easy at all when it comes to family pets... But like you said couldnt have gone any calmer or easier, which is all you can ask for. Id be the same as you with wankers at work mate, had my staffy since I was 10 so grown up with her. Always been my dog though, I was the one that used to get up to give her milk at 3 in the morning hahah. Just think of all the positives :)
