My pooch is on slow decline, im dreading the day. I've found a vet that will come to the house and euthanaise him at home. Hopefully not even a third of the way there yet though, had her five years. Not much can cheer you up after a hard day like a dog, always happy to see you! But like you said couldnt have gone any calmer or easier, which is all you can ask for. Id be the same as you with wankers at work mate, had my staffy since I was 10 so grown up with her.
