Lol.. Bizkets and I are the same vintage ('85)..

And I think I used to work with that exact bloke.. Except when I was in gumbyment I would go ask him a question about 1pm on a Friday as I didn't want to do anything for the afternoon.. He'd usually finishing his story around 3:30-4:00pm..

Also, Get a flip key for the BF, my usual locksmith has moved to the other side of the moon so go to a new guy.

"Can you cut this?"

"Yes $28"

" Can you also code it?"

"yes $35"

Get the key cut and "coded" go to start car. No good.

Take the key back

"Keys not coded mate"

"Yes it is"

"Well the car won't start"

"That's cause it's not programmed, It's coded though"

"WTF?"

Turns out to this guy coded means he used the keycode to cut the key rather than the sample key I supplied.

Que 10 min wait in the car for the smartshield to relax and start let me start the car with the original key.
