Telstra,

Made some changes to my home phone/internetz/fuxtel bundle a couple of months ago (4 to be precise) now it appears el dingus telstra employee forgot to quote the fuxtel price in the bundle. This resulted in my thinking I was getting the deal of the century hence I paid the bill on time each month without reviewing the bill.

Turns out they just plain forgot to charge me for the foxtel service. They now want $394 in back payment. That's not going to happen.

Unfortunatly for them Im a stubborn prick with a desk phone and nothing but time to kill. I'll start with the pleading ignorance and work my way to up to cancel the foxtel/home phone/internet and two mobiles if they refuse to waive it.

I seriously did, and he paid.

For over a month he had been calling and sending emails which Bel and Andrew had spent over 5 hours dealing with him, then he posted he was going elsewhere on FB, but then wanted some more advice, I told him I wasn't interested or would be doing anymore quotes or give him anymore advice unless he started to pay for my time, he rang up the next day and asked could he come down from the northern suburbs to talk to me, I told it would cost him, when he came in I charged him an hours labour to talk to him

Completely fair enough in my books..

I charge clients for time spent on phone occasionally. Usually only if they've asked the same question a couple times..
