When the surgeon tells you that there is nothing left in your 17 year old sons knee to do a reconstruction with and he actually needs a knee replacenent.

We both feel like sh*t now.

From a combination of football and motorbikes. He originally just had a cleanout and had only 20% acl left then injured it again at footy and results were no acl left at all and major meniscus damage,not repairable.

Only option at a later stage is knee replacement.

Will he be able to do either footy or motorbikes after the replacement?

Just know a few blokes who've done ACL and LCL and haven't played footy again..

Mate called me today and an out of town copper ( we live out in the sticks 10,000 people) has come to town and pulled him over in his ute gave him a $550 fine for having a for sale sticker on his ute and threaded a dozen defects, turbo change to a gtx,airbox, cooler, exhaust ect I was surprised he actually knew about all that stuff...just chits me out in a small town he feels the need to come on his high horse and pick on locals.

Not sure what he can do after a replacement but as it stands at the moment after he recovers he cannot do any impact sports which will be hard as he is into everything.

Definatley no couch potatoe.
