Who Are The Worst Drivers On Our Roads?

Well, there is one stretch of road in Canberra that seems to catch some dumber tourist out. Northbourne avenue. Main stretch into Canberra. 3 lanes one side, huge medium strip, 3 lanes the other side. I 've lost count how many times I've seen an interstater going up the wrong way. About 5 months ago, I saw a bloody tourist with a caravan going northbound in the southbound lanes. Sure was surreal.

Oh, almost forgot to add. Don't you just hate those drivers that drive slower than the limit on a suingle lane road, and when you get to 2 lanes they speed up, then when it get's back to one lane they slow down again. Not a real problem now, when driving the T, but when driving my dads mazda truck, this bloody pisses me off.

I'm sorry but the amount of complete tossers that happen to be behind the wheel of a Late model camira that I come across is outstanding (And no I'm not in the XR most of the time, I'm in a 84 Honda Accord). I know there are car enthusiasts out there and some genuine people that love their Holden's out there. This is not directed to you. This is just from personal observation doing 110kms every day out there coming across a lot of young idiots that think they are so cool with their ducking and weaving all over the place causing soo many near misses with their stupidity.

It's not so much the quick take off at the lights, it's morons doing some unbelievable speed down a freeway, ducking and weaving with only inches to play with, leaving no room for the inexperienced driver to react. I can usually avoid a sticky situation and have done so in avoiding a pile up. Seeing possible problems appearing in front of you as a result of some :banghead: is enough to make your blood boil. Yes there are Ford people that do the same, you come accross all types of hoons. The majority are Expensive Daewoo drivers (Once again from personal observation)! They just seem to be the most impatient and careless drivers out there.

LOL, they don't think they are so cool when you have creamed them when your N/A can do 120kmh in 2nd gear, cya.....game over.

2nd choice is definatley TAIL GATERS!!!!! I hate them. :banghead:

3nd choice would have to be elderly people not looking and doing 50 in a 100 zone. "Not a HgAg comment, just thought the wheelchair smilie suited".

Have to go with Commadore drivers, but can narrow that down to Coomadore taxis driven by asian men (no racisim), that combination is a nightmare on four wheels!!! :lol:

Copped a goose in a commadore on Christmas day, I pulled over into the left hand lane to turn left at the next intersenction, heaps of room, all of a sudden he's up my arse giving me the digit and yelling out of the window at me, tosser!!!

Of course I was not worried as I had EID in the car and had to lock the doors and windows cause she was like a rabid Rottweiler, and it would have been extreemly ugly if I had stopped the car and she had got out!! :lol:

So to the tosser in the white commadore station wagon..... :banghead: :banghead:

I think the worst are your average joe blow who decides to do the family roadtrip thing.Here is your average mug who may commute to and from work 5 days a week,20 to 40 kays a day.

holiday time comes,load up the boot,stick a couple of hundred kilo's of crap on the roof racks,toss in a couple of whinging kids and the missus and he's off.Dosnt matter that the camry handles like a bucket of sh*t!Thinks he can drive like Schumacker,and he ends up losing it and killing some other poor bas*ard out for a drive.Ive seen it happen.

I think women in the majority because they see a car as a means of transport and don't now how to use the car properly....

though...old people are bloody hopeless. They have been driving for decades with their bad habits and they won't do anything to change them

taxi drivers...invariably this is the first time they have driven a car as they have been brought up pulling rickshaws, riding on magic carpets or driving camel trains

the people that have their ambition thoroughly confused with their ability....this encompasses people of all ages and both genders...they cannot be told as they are the worlds best driver

basically anyone that has the wrong atttitude, very little car control experience and sees driving as a chore not a fulfilling experience.

They should have to undergo a reflexes test, eye test and do a new licence test every couple of years, to see if they remember the laws they learnt 100 years ago which are no longer law anyway! Get 'em off the road, NOW.

P Plater's a close second.

They are 18-21 and indestructable. Except for the hundreds/thousands that are killed or seriously injured each year that is. The other two are OK drivers.

Wow! I survived being on my P's and being 18-21 also. No injuries either. So I must have been one of the other 2 drivers. I never realised I was so lucky! :banghead: :D

Actually I change my mind this will probably start war but QLD drivers should have been a option. when I lived up in the north of QLD I have seen some of the worlds worst and most dangerous drivers ever. Caravan Drivers takes 2nd place
