Who Are The Worst Drivers On Our Roads?

It all depends....

Around town, then taxis take the biscuit...absolutely f***ing hopeless, inconsiderate b**tards. Also, cyclists deserve a mention here, especially the couriers...cutting in and out of traffic without a care in the world.

Near schools, then women in their 4 wheel drives...just have to park as close to the school gates as possible, without consideration for residents or other motorists.

On highways, anyone who drives below the posted speed limit, and refuses to pull over and let other cars pass.

Men who want to shave whilst driving.

Women who put their makeup on whilst driving.

And in general -

- Hoons, youngsters who think they know how to drive, but drive with a death wish.

- Any moron who doesn't use their indicators...don't you know that you could have saved $500 when buying your car, by unselecting the indicator option

- Any idiot who drives around in bright daylight with their foglights on..perhaps you need to get your eyes tested.

- Tourists - well what can one say, if you are a tourist, and inrtend to sight see, then you damn well shouldn't be driving - What the hell do you expect to see, the road, or the opera house ?

There was an article several months back, where this women in the US was pulled over for the following, simultaneously.

- Driving at 100mph

- Breastfeeding her baby

- Talking on her cell phone

- and finally, taking notes as well.

it was a toss up between woman and taxi drivers...now before all the girls in this forum go nuts at me, let me explain...someone else mention that the 18-25 girls out on the road have become quite aggressive, I agree totally...if it's not some young p-plate girl in a corolla would THINKS she can drive (but in reality, due to her MAJOR lack of experence, couldn't drive a greasy stick into a cow a$$) it's some sales rep in a newish crapodore exec, that clearly has some major problem with a guy in, god for bid, a FORD pass her, the funny thing about that is, they think they can actually blow you away in a 6 cyl holden now this is just an observation, so girls, please don't take it the wrong way....

In the end after a wack under the ear from the g/f for my previous comments, I voted for taxi drivers, basically for the same reason everyone else did - they just seem to make up their own rules and in some situation they can be quite dangerous!! :o

Here in Vic its the people with the "Drive Right" stickers on them driving on the right hand lane and 5-10 under the speed limit. hoping to get a prize. (as if).

Definitely 18-25yr old girls.

With scant regard for weather conditions or traffic density. They come flying up behind you, tailgate until they can get past, then zot from lane to lane without indicating.

All in their high perfomance Hyundai/Festiva/Daewoo/Starlett festooned with carpark dents, fitted with skinny bald tires and the dash and rear window totally obscured by several thousand small fuzzy toys.

...or perhaps this only happens in Canberra.

But taxi drivers and fast/slow/fast drivers coming a very close second.

And the girls with "Bad Girl" stickers on their rear windscreen. There is a plethora of them up here in Brisvegas. Most of them are overweight and I would hate to see them be bad.

Asians, old people, taxi drivers and ANY of the general public who don't have an interest in cars and then think that they can in fact control a motor vehicle. These people are the most ignorant of all and quite scary actually.

Oh, and me when I am staring at my speedo trying not to go over the speed limit and not looking at where I am driving.......... :lol:

Here was the dilemma with voting for old people.

My dad is now 69 and has been driving for 55 years, in that time he has covered well over 2 Million KM's. Owned various performance cars such as Jaguars, BMWs and regularily driven the 327 Monaro that was disqualified at Bathurst and now an XR8 and has NEVER, EVER had an accident not even been in an accident BUT I am now starting to feel uneasy driving with him.

80 in 100 zones, 160 in 100 zones, near misses, driving through stop signs....but having said that he generally drives SAFER than many of my P Plate friends: Ie safety margins etc.

So in the end I just voted for the type of drivers who sh*t me.....though I may change that if there is a Queenslander option...
