From memory you wont even get sound with just the apple cable plugged in...<br /><br />Also interested to know if the firmware update fixed the first issue?I have an FG MkII. When I plug the iPhone in via USB, it detects that the iPhone is connected and I get sound. The FG MkII comes standard with iPod integration so any cable I need should have been included when I bought the car? On the ICC it will say 'iPod Connected' and I can go through the songs, playlists, etc. only issue is it resets to 'A' every time you go to the list, lol. This is with the Apple Dock Connector to USB. As an aside, if you do need a Ford cable, they'd better be getting the new Lightning to USB fixed up pretty quick or you'll start getting a few antsy customers that their new iPhone/iPod doesn't work...I haven't been able to test the first issue yet as I'm in QLD at the moment. Dad took the car in for me with a letter detailing my issues while I'm away. I'll be testing it when I get back on Sunday so I'll post up the result of course.
