Hi there,

Ive noticed on a few XR6T on here and on the streets that they have removed the plastic grill in the middle of the front bar.

I wanted to know how are people doing it?? as ive had a quick look and looks like it all one piece with the two side bits.

I found this picture on the net and hope the owner doesnt mind but this is how I would like to make the grill look like

if someone could give me some pointers on how to remove it that would be great as I personally think it looks better seeing the cooler than the ugly plastic grill.

cheers.

I think the earlier models came with it cut out already.

And was later added to the newer models

I could be wrong but I have noticed old people without that grill part and pretty sure they wouldnt want it cut off

I've always wondered about this too, not sure if I'm willing to do the chop chop on it though. I suppose if you have an awesome blingy aftermarket cooler it would be even better.

I have a June 08 build and have the middle grill so not quite sure if this is the case. Maybe the old people bought the cars off someone who cut it out

I have seen a few like that though...I know there are different ones out there anyways.

I wish mine wasnt there but I dont want to cut cause you will have sh*t spots where u cut through unless u do a good job and respray the bumper haha
