$250 to my door.

Gauges are useless unless they warn you of issues. No oil pressure for 5 seconds and good bye engine. What are the chances you will be looking at the gauge when the oil pump shtis. Recalling peak values is also handy.

I agree totally gunna and that's why I decided on the speedhut set.

Warning light can be set for low and / or high and you can even adjust the brightness of it.

Example is my oil pressure gauge - low warning set to 10psi ( therefore the light is on for the first half a second of cold start up ) and high is set for 75psi ( to remind me not to kick it too hard until the engine warms up ).

I have high warning only set for boost and EGT.

I hardly ever look at the gauges now coz the novelty of owning them has warn off but you better believe I do if one of the gauges warning lights come on

Hope you don't mind me taking a post of yours in another thread to use here.

I regret getting EGT now. I'd originally ordered a volt gauge but an EGT one rocked up. Who's fault it was? I dunno.
I should have gone trans temp instead

I just found this pdf............not a bad read so I reckon it's time you hooked yours up so we can compare.

http://www.thermoguard.com.au/FAQ.pdf

It talks about diesel and petrol engines

Hey guys,
Looking at a 3 gauge pod for my XR6T, just wondering if any one here runs AEM gauges?
I was thinking of running Boost, AFR and possibly oil pressure? Not sure with what to get for the 3rd gauge spot.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
