I've been with nrma for years my insurance is $823 a year not a bad price for full insurance for a decent payout if anything ever happens but I hope I never get to use it

I assume you have been driving still in those years. When I went back to my own car after years in company cars RAC here in WA gave me full rating 1 with max no claim. Just had to get letter from company stating I haven't had an at-fault claim in last 5 years.

For me, Western Sydney 38yr old no at fault accident ever 2010 G6ET insured for $40,000.

AAMI - $786

NRMA- $1258

GIO- $1086

Allianz- $974

I have been with AAMI for 7 years.

Fcks me...perhaps get some quotes? Online even if you don't want the hassle of speaking with humans?

Congrats on your new ride.

I pay $720 for an 09 G6eT but have a $188 multi policy discount and $1105 65% no claim discount. So full price around 2k

And my excess is $550. I am over 40y/o

Best thing is if you can add someone like your mum or partner who has been driving. Hopefully, the insurance company will use their discount at least partially to offset the cost.
