Nothing worse then traction control

Kicking in and holding you back! Sometimes traction control can be very sensitive and activate with the slightest bit of power!

I turn it off and have heard that's the norm.

when you start getting serious about drag racing and start running the nsw championships (trust me the bug bites HARD lol) traction is like an illegal drug if found using it (even in a street car) it'll get you banned and fined big $$$

I always turn it off (especially when it cuts in and you lose all power D'oh!)

running street tyres (factory dunlop tyres) I can stall to about 2250rpm until they start spinning. best 60' on streets has been 1.955

Question, on the strip would you put it in sports mode or leave in drive? Reason I ask is my BF2 XR6T seems to pull harder in drive that it does in sports.

Is this because of where boost is coming on? I've not done any mods yet.

Manual shifting for me. My best times are manual. about .2 or .3 faster.

D might have more of a slingshot feeling, I know what you mean I think. Might be because it is happy to start revving in a higher gear or something causing boost to ramp up instead of using the lower gear revs and displacement immediately? Could be talking out my arse though.
