ummm.

get to 100% throttle (more importantly, 100% boost) as quickly as you can without the rear tyres braking traction.

The fastest way I have heard of people doing it is forcing it into second, stalling it against the break then dropping back to 1st and leaving as hard as you can

Brake as hard as you can

Accelerate slowly untill you build boost then when ready smash the pedal and jump off the brakes....

I found 5psi to be perfect to net a 1.80 60ft!

Stomp on the brakes accelerate while on the brakes! DON'T BREAK TRACTION! When your boost gauge is about 5psi release the brake and stomp on the accelerater. This makes you leave the line with boost and makes the turbo kick in quicker and reduces the lag. Making your take off alot quicker

60ft is the first 60ft from the start line!!!! So 1.8 seconds to get to 60feet!!!!!! 1.8 and under is good anything over will affect your total time alot....

ok thanks kosij..my ride is not modded and plus I dont have a psi meter gauge...so I suppose that's about 2500 rpm then let go of the brakes and smash the throttle pedal huh.

Yeap just don't break traction or else you will be wasting your time you will get better after every run.... I started at about 2100rpm and went to about 2400rpm to much and you will just wheel spin.

Good luck and enjoy your self be warned it gets bloody addictive :) and being an fg your turbo is smaller then the ba bf ones so your actually get power quicker..... So your 60ft time should be low...

Im thinking of doing a small mod on my XR6T = just a flashtune [x3] and a exhaust mod..good enough ??

ahh so 60ft means 60 feet in length along the bitumen?

and 1.80 means the time it took in secs to reach 60 feet !!! ok got it
