Kosij Donating Members 2,045 Member For: 13y 3m 15d Gender: Male Posted 03/08/12 07:58 AM Share Posted 03/08/12 07:58 AM I have been around this site for a while so thouht its time I listed my car car is a 2005 ba xr6T ex hw car so its probbaly had the guts smashed from it.....when I purchased it almost 16months ago it was stock with 20'' rimsthen within weeks I fitted a pod filter and newer bf interiorthen some xr8 alloys because of the shocking camber problem!then came a avo intercooler 60LB injectors x force 4'' dump and cat converter and a dyno tune done by spiro from autotech at granville...... netted 306rwkw at 15psi (standard turbo and actuator) went to WSID and ran an 12.5 at 115mph on sh*tty street tyresthis power kept me happy for 12 months....I then upgraded to a rapid intercooler and a custom intake and removed the battery and put it in the boot and fitted an xr8 bonnetdecided I might try a differnt tuner so I drooped my baby of to castle hill exhaust to be tuned on pump and E85 got a call it pulled good numbers and was "SAFE"wasnt happy with the outcome so I removed my turbo to port it and found this... after 6 passes at the drag strip with a best of 12.0 at 116mph on nto5'salong with 15 cracks, turbo shop asked me how my engine was still going as this was the worst turbo he had ever seen hes words were the car was runnin lean as chit!spoke to dale at che he wanted another $400 to touch up the tune I thought Fark that back to autotech I go!fitted 80lbs and a eboost 2 then let spiro done hes magic322RWKW on pump344RWKW on E85 had more in it but the transmission didnt like it....went to WSID ran a 11.8 at 120.1mph made me happy that's all I wanted was an 11 week later and my poor old btr 4spd has decided to chit 3rd and 4th gear 1st and 2nd are perfect!FML happens after I spend my last $2000 on a tune and new turbo housing!o well that's life so time to start saving :/ 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CHE have 100s of tough cars holding together, + a heap of dedicated drag cars. Kosij loves hating them, but let's point out it didn't kick a leg out of bed, actually has he had to have anything fixed?Cracks in a rear housing are common as, probs on 50% of these cars.
