Date: 23/9/12 (Sunday)

Meeting point: Windsor Maccas

Time of departure: 9.00am

Cruise destination: Bathurst

Itinerary: Head for Bathurst mid Morning Via Bells Line, arrive For a Photo shoot at specific locations around the track, Head for Lunch at a local eatery, After lunch Head over to the Bathurst Museum for a peek, Heading Home Mid afternoon.

Updates

1) Mount Panorama is a "Public 50 klm speed zone"

2) Date has been set please read top of post.

3) two ways are a must for "While driving" photo shoots.

4) No over taking unless otherwise stated for Photo purposes.

5) The weather will be monitored daily e.g: If rain is present Sunday the cruise will be set for Saturday

Sunny. Light winds becoming west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the day then turning southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening.

FORUM RULES:

1. Obey all laws whilst on the cruise; this means no speeding, no overtaking over double lines (no matter how safe you think it may be), etc...

2. There is a designated cruise leader who will lead the way and set the correct pace for all cruise members.

3. Use the Buddy system - always make sure you can see the car behind you. This will give people behind you an indication on where to turn to make sure nobody gets lost.

4. CB Radios - if you don't have one, follow the maps and directions given out. It is highly recommended to have CB as it enhances the enjoyment of the cruise being able to hear about road hazards and join in on the social chatter.

5. Please turn up to the meeting points with a sufficient fuel in your tank and enough time before the departure time.

6. Onus is on the owner/driver to ensure their vehicle is safe to drive on public roads and meets State road traffic authority laws.

7. Please ensure you have a contingency plan if you have a breakdown or unnecessarily delayed. e.g. Roadside Assistance or a mate in another car who is willing to stay with you if necessary.

8. This cruise is not to be advertised on any other media or websites or social media sites without prior agreement from the cruise organisers.

9. By attending this cruise you agree not to hold FordXR6Turbo.com, it's Administrators, Moderators, Cruise Controllers, or Owner responsible / liable for any damage and / or grief sustained (simply; you are responsible for your own actions).

Yeh I have done a bathurst cruise before, def. would be keen to do something like that again.

Something along the lines of lunch at the club in bathurst, a few laps around the track and photos on pit lane.

Possibly could duck thru jenolan caves and around too afterwards for the trip hm :dontknow:... some gr8 country roads out that way with very little traffic.

Was thinking a good time would around October November being when it was actually released, (and I will have my fg by then)

Bathurst sounds like a great idea

Keep in mind that the great race is on in October...(4-7th Oct to be exact & I'm working there again this year) so best to avoid the weeks before and after that...otherwise, I'm IN!!! :)
