Holy $hit. I just saw wa g6et and trainer. Holy $H1TE!!!! I must have one.

Here goes another noob Q. After buying a WHITE G6ET, what do I need to do to make it look like trainer or wa g6et? Does anyone know how much they spent to get it looking the way it does?

Coilovers $2k, or springs $500.

Powder coat/ paint stock wheels $400-500

Or buy 20"s $2500.

As well as the other points already made the g6e also has electric seats, and I think the mirrors automatically dip with bright light and reversing or something like that. Neither option is in the F6 and there is no option to include them.

Actually there are very few options available in the F6.

When I got mine they were:

Leather

Brake upgrade (6/4)

Floor mats

Adjustable pedals

Satnav

Yep, they have 8-way electric seats (I think the F6 has 4-way), an electrochromatic rear vision mirror (it auto dips when headlights hit it) and you can set up the mirrors to auto dip when you put the car in reverse. I don't think you can get adjustable pedals anymore...

Does the lack of LSD in the G6ET make them hard to launch off the line without TCL going spastic all the time?

Its the lack of LSD that really urks me about the G6ET...........

Doesn't seem to make the Traction Control come on in mine except in the wet but everyone knows the stock tyres are sh*t. If you want one, get a Harrop TruTrac, they're better than what Ford stick in anyway.

Dude don't ask$$$$$$

Really though, ended spending a small fortune of the wheels. The GT-E/F6E/GT 5th Ann are pretty rare and hard to find 2nd hand and then got them blasted/powder and clear coated($85 per rim). Look only needed these rims as needed something to clear the Harrop brakes I got and had heart set on some FPV wheels in black.

Suspension can be done with just some lowered coils but beware you will end up with some serious negative camber. Check out my garage I think I have everything there I have done.

If I go for the cheaper options on these, will I get that premium look with the wheels and would I be losing out on performance if I go the springs over the coilovers?
