Flying kiwi Member 11 Member For: 12y 4m 29d Gender: Male Location: Tauranga NZ Posted 25/07/12 02:22 AM Share Posted 25/07/12 02:22 AM I recently picked up my bf2 turbo and have noticed that when turning hard left around twisty roads at 35-50kms/hr the exhaust hits the chassis rail.I had a look while it was on the hoist at the tyre shop and could see where the pipe had been hitting...it is hitting at the first "Y" splitter (stock system).It looked like it only had 10mm gap between them which I thaught was not enoughIt seems worse when your on the brakes and hitting bumpsThe guy I baught it off said ,he used to run it with the first flange unbolted cause it sounded good.....Maybe its bent?I suspect the engine mounts are f**ked , but would like to hear if this is a common thing or not ???Its done 130,000kms Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
