Covering the 1/4 mile at a slower speed usualy equates to higher mph if he gets the car sorted and goes faster it will equate to slower mph which then will indicate true power. Good luck sounds like an animal.

Not necessarily, I had EXACT same problem with my car, raced it and the transbrake wasn't working, so I couldn't get stuff all boost off the line and was running 10.6-10.8 @ 145-147mph, took it home, fixed it all by the following meeting with nothing changed other than fixing the transbrake it went 9.4 @ 150, I reckon I could have possibly squeezed another 1-2mph if I could get it to leave the line without blowing the tyres off, track prep was not the best that day...

Yeah I agree with the above, I went .5seconds quicker and gained 3mph.
