Response from HPF:

Johnny Farah's HPF built G6E finally made it to the track. It still has some issues as can be seen by the 2.2 sec 60 ft times (trans brake not working and some comms errors on the dash) but you cant take away the 144+ mph trap speed!

Doing the maths, the standard car weighs 1740kg, add 90kg for the driver and at least an additional 50kg's worth of go faster bits = 1880kg's running 144 mph shows the engine making over 1020hp.

Covering the 1/4 mile at a slower speed usualy equates to higher mph if he gets the car sorted and goes faster it will equate to slower mph which then will indicate true power. Good luck sounds like an animal.

That's true. But 10.6 with a 2.2 60ft also shows there's mid 9s in it.
