guys

What's everyone's fg ute's idle at? When I bought mine back in 2009 it was idling at just over 750rpm and now it's idling just over 500rpm. Is this normal?

I've got that stupid common rattle on idle that ford don't know how to fix apparently, could it be related to the idle being so low?

I queried ford as my FG idled at 550rpm and the ford fg workshop manual was higher cant remember 650 of 700rpm. They told me there was a update that dropped the idle to the 550rpm + or- 50rpm fuel and emission reasons.

is the idle different on these cars when cold? compared to when warm start up?

I know some cars idle higher when very cold!

you need a tune to increase the idle speed, there should be no real harm but why?

many cars with bigger injectors have the idle speed increased

Test if it fixes that stupid rattle on idle I guess
