I think the kids are going to get sick of soup and risotto in the short term

I personally havent got either coz I couldnt justify the money for the use really.

She uses it every single day to cook with. Honestly I think it could have been a manufacturing problem as they did have some issue with the seals but I put some of this down to people not knowing how to use the thing. as whinginator said there has been some viable competitors appear that should be looked at . I am married to a man and my dads a butcher... almost every meal I make if it isnt a roast is cooked on a grill or frypan. that's the one thing a thermo cant do. For 2k id wanna be able to set a timer and get home and my house is clean and a three course meal is on my table for no work at all lolol It is worth the cash if u use it every day to make something I think. And retirees hit that mark bang on

Uses it flat out everyday it has some excellent features and some limitations but overall we wouldn't be without it now. It's absolutely awesome for making baby food which we are going through Kilos of at the moment so between two kids's worth of mush it would have paid for itself. Now if they would just do a version with a charcoal grill hanging off the side.

I was looking at all these troubles before I bought - looks like it's the older Australian only model between a certain date that was having the issues where they moved production to a different factory
