Splurged $30 on a backlit "gaming" keyboard. I've had the old Microsoft one for like ten years, I think it's had its fill of jizz.

Bought a couple of GTX 980's to run SLI on my "work" computer.

Should make me more productive ;)

Just bought a foil electric shaver instead of my old rotary one. Got told the foil is better since it spins at higher RPM.

Anyway it's got a cooling bar etc to stop shaving rash.

Shall see how it goes.

Have never had any luck with electric ones - keep trying them again every few years, but "a close as a blade" has never even come close.

I'm with Rab. I tried a couple different electrics and they've been sh*tehouse for me.

I hate the odd ingrown I get with a blade. Only use them for special occasions or if I've let it get too long for the electrics to handle. I have a decade old electric that is plug in only and smashes longer hair, and one of those 3 circle things for a close shave. Very hard to get it smooth like a blade though.

Tried to buy a beard trimmer to keep it at the length I like but the guy failed to come good on a promise to get one from the storage yard on the other side of the shops the next day. Made me drive down for nothing, the a55hole

Don't get me wrong the blade is way better and the electric shaver I have to use daily but it never finishes feeling completely smooth.

But the blade always leaves me with ingrowns. Which I hate. Especially on my neck.
