Some more COOLNESS arrived on my doorstep this morning!

My second hand early 1980s Adidas Leather Rome shoes were delivered from Germany.

I think they were originally made in Australia back when we had a manufacturing industry.a5e5b50480b0553f635c96be3ff4a7ca.jpg550c714b9220d2ea4816243eae77e80b.jpg

The shoes are in fantastic condition and fit perfectly, very comfortable, the leather is very soft.

Now just gotta make them last the rest of my life

I remember all the girls in high school wore those. Blokes had Dunlop KT26 or black DBs

$89 Aussie pesos plus $23 for postage.

The guys wore desert boots or Dunlop KT26s and some who could afford them wore the Adidas Romes.

I had a pair of Romes that took me ages to save up for, I think they were close to a hundred bucks in 1980.

Never owned a pair of KT26s, I always wore Dunlop Volleys.......still do!

I got given this from work, and my boy has been busting my chops about building it.

So I said "right your 6 you build it."

So for the last 5 days Lego has littered the lounge room floor, much to mums disgust.

Dad acted as construction supervisor and sticker applicator, all 120 of them.

Today he finished it with a big grin from ear to ear, not as big as dads though.
