I'd like solar panels, but can't justify paying 5k for panels then selling the house in maybe a few years. I won't actually save any money haha

Got a Coles/Myer voucher for Chrissy and was wondering what to use it for...so decided to go to Officeworks and get some Lifx smart bulbs. Got 4 of the mini colour ones for the lamps in my bedroom, entrance and living room. Also got a TP-Link smart switch to turn my display cabinet on and off. Like the functionality...but will be better once I can justify buying a proper smart home Hub (looking at the Athom Homey) and make life easier.

Have done, yeah. Fibaro would definitely be my preference over Vera, mainly due to the GUI...but it's like a grand. The Homey gets better reviews than both the others and is half the price of the Fibaro HC2, but essentially has all the same features and then some.

The goodies arrived just in time for the long weekend, bloody ripper.

All from Mal Wood Automotive.
Option 5 Clutch
QA1 SFI rated bell housing
T56 Magnum
New CSC, flywheel bolts, news clutch feed lines, 16mm master to suit the twin plate better than a factory spec 19mm master.

Going by the el cheapo calipers I have the magnum input shaft is approx 4mm thicker than the tr6060 so that's a decent upgrade. The casing looks a heap better/thicker all around aswell.
New bell housing is a bit slimmer than the factory part too, will make the solid mount install a bit easier. b3d6d2bae767127c54f6cb9e82888a26.jpgf01361672b11e3aa1a8355b1f734b621.jpgf1fe2fe51d96ad13fff7cab7328da07b.jpg

Only sh*tty part is I didn't get the adaptor to suit a hurst shift handle by the looks of it the Mal's shifter suits the stock handle.
I'll either re use my "core" short shifter or sort a bit of stock and drill it out tomorrow. Don't want no rubber stuff in between, solid shifter is a better shifter.

lots of driveline vibrations in the cabin if it's solid mounted, but you're right that the engagement feel is almost worth it in a street car :)
