Well, I've only had it since Monday...but so far so good. Haven't really had the car sitting out in the sun on a scorcher of a day yet, but Scosche make decent quality stuff. Just buy a windscreen shade for when you park your car - keeps the car temps down considerably.

Ohh I do have a sun shade for the windscreen. Even like that I have had one mount melt and become unusable.

It is the wireless charging that has me interested. So I take it that you have to have one of their phone covers on the phone so it can wireless charge the phone yeah?

If that is the case, do you get another charger for inside the house?

Nope. I just have any old phone case. The magnet thingy comes with a template of where to mount the magnets on your case (if you're using a case) or the option for mounting directly to your phone. To clarify - your phone must have inbuilt wireless charging (I have a Galaxy S8).

Here's what mine looks like on the phone case:

wireless charging built in. gotchya. I was not aware that the Samsung products had built in wireless charging.

Just bought my Wife an S9 and it is good news to find out she has it.

I have a oneplus 5 so no wireless charging in there. :(

That model of mount isn't compatible with the S9 due to the camera placement apparently.
