my super expensive test meter has arrived.

....and it suggests my modem is faulty! should be getting at least 9mbit sync on the modem but getting closer to 5 lately.

for all the money I paid at least the thing weighs a few kilos. the reason its so expensive is because it does far far more than just this.

It's probably quite obvious how much I love my gadgets, beer and BBQ etc

I've been searching for a way to add that "Guiness" touch to my stouts and ales without having to resort to a dedicated keg, tap, line and nitro bottle.

(like they serve in pubs or the Guiness & Kilkenny cans etc you get with the widgets)

New gadget should arrive next week - just in time to tap an Irish stout I've got conditioning.

magnetic bug mesh screen door cover (the only way I can get decent airflow through my apartment without getting heaps of bugs come in :spoton:). It's a big bugger at 1200x2400.

You got me to bite the bullet and order one too :)

Am sure my back's aching more today than it was before I ordered it lol. The current officeworks seat feels like a bed of nails now ;)

I bit the bullet and looked up how much it cost.

Then I didn't order one.

My current chair feels like a concrete slab with a twist of scoliosis.

Had an op on my back about 5 years ago - starting to get "old man pains" in it again.

Replaced my mattress for a proper one 13 months ago and it helped heaps - that takes care of 8 hours a day

Replacing my seat will take care of another 12 or so hours a day (home office - work in it all day and use it out of hours too)

12 year warranty the <$2k price should pay for itself after 1st decade ;) (usually only get a couple of years out of a chair - always bought crap from officeworks that looked and felt comfy instore - they always lose their comfort and start looking ratty far too soon)
