Mrs Jeturbo Bob the Freaking Builder Donating Members 10,813 Member For: 15y 2m 28d Gender: Female Location: SA Posted 31/12/15 12:44 AM Share Posted 31/12/15 12:44 AM (edited) Yeah - that's what stopped me going a combo - think it was something like 15kg/7.5kg wash/dryDecided it made more sense to do a full washing load and dry/hang separately than 2 half loads in the machine to let it dry them for me.Big gas dryer is on the shopping list for when I get round to it.edit: that said - when I was looking there were 4 kids (including a baby/toddler) and 2 adults to be cleaned up after - these days my wash would be lucky to be 5kg's a week, so the combo would be perfectIn sa we don't need dyers much per say Coz it's never really humid etcThe only thing we use it for is sheets and underwear Coz I'm too lazy to hang every pair of socks and jox on the washing line lol (which I'd never do a load over 8kg) and our old dryer is a clothes shrinker old style atm Parents never had a dryer so it's a luxury for me not something I frequently use This one supposedly doesn't shrink clothes Coz it's a water style dryer and is much less harsh on the clothes ....
