How old is your PC? Able to run Project Cars?

Windows 10 is out in a few days - I think I'll wait til then for my reformat and see if I can get PCars working.

Really want to do the career mode through the karts etc

Yep Sony and Microsoft are money hungry whores! An example being unable to use existing bluetooth headsets (like the Turtle Beach) on the PS4 even though the PS4 sees the device and says synced successful but with an immediate "failed to authenticate" after it! Bluetooth is farking backwards compatible the greedy cnts...

Was gonna swap it for steam credit....then I saw elder scrolls online....and The Witcher...ended up with Elder Scrolls.... Sim Racing is on the back burner again.

Bird at EB was like "oh we will have the g29 in soon" I was like "soo 500 bucks to play one game....or just stick to my PC for sim racing...."

IRacing ftw anyway

I've got a Gigabyte GTX750 that I'm thinking of selling for a Radeon card (still ATI?) as the HTPC I bought 2nd hand is AMD based with the A-series APU (Radeon R7 graphics) soI would think that an R7 card in crossfire with the onboard APU would be better suited than the Geforce?

Not sure why the original owner went that way though?

Depending on what onboard radeon the APU has exactly, maybe not no. You can only crossfire cards of the same series and the APU will likely have a lower spec one which means having to crossfire it with another one of the same type which doesn't necessarily mean it will be better than the single GTX.

I paid like 600ish for one of the 6870's brand new then picked up another on eBay(exactly the same brand and card) for 150 about 12 months later...so maybe hunt for another 750 if your rig has the provisions for SLi

The motherboard and APU are-

Motherboard= G1-SNIPER-A88X.

APU= AMD A-Series A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G.

Unfortunately it doesn't mean much to me as I've never owned AMD gear or an APU plus my last pc I bought was my Asus G74-SX or something along those lines... Lol

What are you hoping to do with the box?

Seems perfect for a HTPC.

Is it in a small form factor box as well (not a larger PC case)?

Could well limit your choice of upgrades, as could the PSU (power supply unit)

Sennheiser HD700

Just arrived.

I think they're going to be stuck on my head for quite a while today :)

Glad the office phones blink when a call comes in - wouldn't be noticing the incomming calls otherwise :P
