dunno bro

I looooooove my ducati. but its home is the racetrack. I love how angry and contankerous it is, and demands respect when you ride it.

its like trying to live with a V8 supercar as your daily. you get soooo many likes, but it would be a *beep* to drive and enjoy.

any sort of cruising around town and it starts getting hot, you can barely ride the friggin thing with the exhausts right under ya bot bot. wrists get sore after 150 klms. tyres only last 4500 kays. still havent had the thing flat out. ive shifted to 6th probably twice....

im just thinking my sort of riding now would be more enjoyable on the night rod. and I have found a dealer who will do a straight swap.

I see your sensible side.. It's coming out alot lately..

It'd be a tough choice mate.. But my contribution will be a question..

Do you make it to the track often?

Track day? once since I owned it. duke has 5500 klms on it. would like to say id hit the track more often, but at 200 a day, that quickly adds up, and with bub on the way, dont think ill be getting much spare time to myself, let alone a full day.

another thing. the last 10 rides ive done, only once was that track day thing which was a super dooper top day. every other ride the night rod could have handled easily. and more comfy.

and everyone loves the new bike smell. plus 2 years warranty......

man I dunno if this sensible mick is a good thing or not..... im seriously considering selling my ducati?!?!? wtf?

Lol.. Mick is growing up..

Dude this is sympathy 'baby brain'..

You're thinking sensibly because the missus is preggers.. I think you need to leave the duc in the garage.. And decide after your hormones settle a bit..

Keep that thought in your mind and dont let the hormones replace it with something stupid like 'I don't really need all that power as the rod is still plenty fast but would be so much nicer on my bum and back getting from A to B'
