Calm down sweetpea. It’s OK, you don’t have to justify wasting your money to me.

PS: Terrys start in the $30s for the poverty pack models (with a much better finish) :stickpoke:

I am calm tabby lol... the kids like through kluugy better as they get to have captain chairs and stuff

....

no drinks ...

too busy to drink ... with kiddlets

just comes down to the fact as much as I love Fords they're a average manufacture quality just like 99% ogre Aussie build cars... once they hit 100000kms they have rattles and creeks that you don't get with euro or jap new cars... friend has a kliger ticked over 200clicks and drives like a newy still...

the warranty covers everything from ying to yang and is 5 years... service costs are very respectable and it they are rated at 5 stars even with the 7 seats...

the winner for us was the last row of seats... folds completely flat but a full size adult can very comfortably fit and sit in there as it has a full foot well and air con back there from roof and floor and the head rests fold up to large so in a rear end accident the kids are as well protected as they can be...

terry had none of those things unfortunately and for us loading kids into a hot car having full air con back there and enough room for them to grow and not need to upgrade again if we don't want to was worth it's weight in gold... we got a demo model from a country dealer and including stamp and rego came in well under $40k...

also what really turned me off was the territory was the highest warranty claimed car when I worked at Ford's...

over 56% of all warranty claims were for territory... falcon close second and small amount to focus etc...

it's people that buy great wall cars who need they're head checked hah

Ovlov u mean lol :P

When your in the 7 seat category the market is small and a near 3 tonne diesel cruiser or patrol wasnt to appealing either

But horses for courses

Hows the new elec steering holding up tabby the more I think about it the more I get worried

What other cars have elec steering ? To be honest I had never heard of it before

I think my mums fiesta has it. or electric assisted steering or whatever.

feels terrible like the steering wheel is just sitting there on a wheel bearing. has no weight whatsoever. feels bad going through corners as well.

at least it wont leak fluid onto the alternator like the falcons

Yeah, but you have to deal with the Ford workshops and after sales! I've had the door card break twice on me in 9 months, now they tell me they aren't replacing it again as I obviously lean on it! Yeah, cause all of a sudden after driving for 20 years I don't know how to get out of a car!

Oh, and when they replaced a pulley last week, they forgot to plug the thermo fan back in!
