Has anyone had any experience with the Lovells Suspension Kit on the FG Falcon before? The kit contains a set of Sports lowering springs & Eliminator shock absorbers.

Your input is greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!

I have Lovell springs in my fg.

I think they're a great spring, but the rears sit higher than the front.

Fronts sit perfectly, but the rears are slightly too high IMO.

Surprisingly, I don't actually have an image of my car side on. But here is the best example I could find.

The car looks like it's sitting pretty straight from the picture you have posted. Lovells state that there is only a 5MM difference in ride height between the front & the back.

Are you running Lovells Elminator Shock Absorbers as well?

Nah. At the time I was running a set of durashock shocks. They were pretty bad and I'd avoid them like the plague.

These will do me for the time being until I get coil overs. But I'd do some more research on the springs, because mine are more than 5mm difference.

I'll try to remember to take a better photo tomorrow and post it up. It's only clearly visible from side on.

Basically the fronts are tucking rubber while the rears are about 6mm above the rubber.

There is only one height spring available for the front but there is two for the rear. They are equivalent to SL(sport low- which is the only one for the front) and SSL(super sport low). Funnily the front is lowest at around 335-34mm hub to guard and the rear with SSL is 340-345.

Alot of my personal cars that I have lowerd tend to end up like that also. Front lower than the back. Looks terrible but I think they do that for load purposes as some cars come like that from factory. Who knows..

What a silly setup they got going. On the website they say the Front is 350MM & the rear is 345MM. (Hub to Guard)

I have first hand on this. I have bilsteins all round which may have a different spring platform height. I have raised the front with a superpro spacer which is moulded to sit on the spring platform. Now have 345 mm on the front. Was just too low before and would scrape the cat in my xforce system on speed humps.

My suspension shop have had several comments made about the front lovells being too low.

Now you kind of put me off Lovells as I was going to pick up a spring/shock package at a good price from a suspension shop. Now I know why loll..

What size wheels are you running on your vehicle? I will be shortly purchasing 20x8.5 wheels w/ 245/35/20 tyres. Curious to know if it would sit nicely without changing the suspension.
