Ey guys I've got myself a Ba mk2 manual ute and it's pretty basic ATM only running 5 psi with a pretty average cooler set up (el cheapo) hot and cold side ... And a 2.5 inch cat back (LOL) haha it was how I got it ...

Anyway I've got myself a 4" dump into 3.5 xforce system and 60lb dekas ready to go in..

Next up il get a turbo smart 12lb actuator and valve springs .. I'm aiming for around 300-330kw so my question is what type of fuel pump should I go for and also do I need to get the flapper mod & port ? What's the going price to install valve sprigs these days ? Thanks guys

Depends on the money you want to spend.

You could get a walbro installed for about $200 or have a surge tank and 044 for about $1000.

Flapper mod and port isn't necessary and I can't quite remember the install price for springs but I think it's around $400-$500.

4" Dump and 3.5" system will be pushing you into flapper mod territory.

Edit: Cheapshit cooler may help you out,but if the turbo's coming off to change the actuator you'd be mad to not get it ported.

Awesome thanks guys !! Would I need a surge at thease levels ? I thought it was a thing for all the zf boys too .. Think il go with the Walbro and may as well do the flapper mod too ... Although I've seen a few second hand rear housings on eBay with actuator and flapper and port for 200 or so buks

Just wondering where does one of the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump sit compared to the walbro and others? Is it better, in the middle or what? Obviously if its the better one the price is a bit higher I'd take it?

+1. Utes don't get surge, but installing the pump is bitxh.

There's other options for intanks. The duetchsworks intank, pierburg, etc.

Bolting on a surge and external pump is only a couple of hundred more though. And can be stripped and sold when selling the car.

Oh true I never knew it was such a bitch for utes haha so external + surge seems to be the go ey ... Where do they normally mount them ? I was thinking I could opt for a eBay surge in the back of the tray behind passenger seat ... I wouldn't be game to put it underneath ... Is this possible ? If I can get away from the 1000 plazmaman surge and 044 and just do a 044 and a eBay surge tank I'd save myself a great deal of cash haha

Can you do much yourself? Do a eBay surge and 044 in tray. Someone on here said it'll only cost $500.

Yeah I think itd would be the way to go .. Not too smart when it comes to cars haha this site has helped me out loads though for planning the way I do mods etc ... I'm getting all the parts bit by bit then gonna hand it over to my tuner and get them to fit everything and tune .. Trying to go as cheap as I can but not dodgy if that makes sense lol
