Should take it round Bathurst and test its performance.. :rofl:

I'm going to Bathurst in September to visit an old friend and I was considering whether to test the car's performance, lol.

So you say its a 6 speed.

If it's an auto then its missing because you are in Bathurst. Need to drive out of Bathurst and the car should fix itself.

If its manual then when was the last time you actually took it around the track. Don't neglect the car. Need to go around at least once a day. This is the rule.

EDIT: just read BA so manual. Argument invalid.

I also have a BA Mk2 XR6t, and it's also missing at idle once warm.

It also has a clutch that's stuffed (on most days) and a diff that isn't very limited any more (not to mention horrendous brakes)... and like you I'm waiting on some funds to fix it's various problems. Quite frustrating
