Hey Freaky, if you wait a few weeks, all your bank interest appears in Etax, or atleast it does for me.

Only earned $12 interest or something in the Savings account I created (and obviously didnt use) in January and it's pre-filled into my tax return

More fines? Hahaha or you learn from your last mistake?

Told the old man last night about that $10 freaky and he one year had a please explain so he went to the accountant and said what's up with it. Accountant said you can't get away with anything. Punched in his name on the ato site and bam there was everything. Shares, bank accounts, you name it's there on record. Farked up if you ask me..

up to $ 50 dollars can be donated each financial year without a recipt , I do this

I looked that sort of thing up last year and this year is $2 like normal. They only allow you to do that if there is a big Disaster that lots of people donate to. In the 2010-2011 year, you could make claims without receipts because of the floods. However, for 2011-2012 (from the tax man):

"For the 2011-12 income year, the Commissioner has not approved any bucket appeal donations. You will need to make sure you have evidence for any donations you made for more than $2 in the 2011-12 income year."

Fukkin oath lol. My old boss at maccas, said he puts $2 into ronald mcdonald box each day he was at work (everyday lol). $730 and cos you put the money in the box, no receipt. Prove it...

That wouldn't be that hard to fake with an office job. If you went to the Macca's next door every day and had some ATM receipts for withdrawing money every now and then or EFTPOS entries for that Macca's there wouldn't really be a way to reject that claim.

However, it the tax man took it to Court, the onus is on your boss to prove he deposited that amount. Being that CCTV would be wiped by that time, he would have to pay the tax man that amount.

Yep, everything appears in eTax, it just takes time. My PAYG summary is available in eTax within 5 working days (benefit of a government job I guess). My bank interest varies from taking 10 working days from July 1 (Comm Bank) to still waiting (ME BanK) with ING and UBank somewhere in the middle (can't remember dates). Medicare normally takes 2-3 weeks (got it last Friday) and my Private Health Insurance takes ages. Last year it wasn't available for 5 weeks and I'm still waiting this year.

I'm also still waiting for my Super contributions to be sent through.

nah I only did mine the other day, it didnt pre fill :(

As I said above, it depends on when the Bank sends their electronic data to the ATO. Some of them take ages.

I know you can't if you pay with EFTPOS but if you paid with cash every time, you'd never be able to prove you regularly went there. If you pay at least some of the time with EFTPOS, it looks like you frequent the store a lot.
