Try and remember that suspension is friction.

If you put a cheap cooler on your car, it will never hold it's potential.

Good suspension is very very dear. Cheap stuff packs it in real quick. They work hard and get hot, and then they don't work. And usually bout then you need it the most.

Putting money into good tyres will keep your car on the road better than anything else. They also improve ride, braking and noise levels.

Improving the suspension should mean keeping these tyres flat on the ground on all corners as much as possible, so they can do what they do.

Put stiffer springs and dampers in and you now have taken your bushes out of their happy working environment. Cars are fitted with nice squishy comfortable bushes, for a nice quite comfortable ride. Fords last about a year at best anyway... or did on the early FG's.

Lower your car and now it needs more adjustment than the std alignment settings can really cope with.....The FG could use a better upper control arm mount anyway.

And now for adjustables.... Unless the spring preload is adjustable...............it ain't doing much more than coping with the road surface.

Even the Teins... Well I can make it snappy...lively and light to steer with the dampers backed right off. Or slow stable and heavy with them dialed right up. Can I change the handling of the car to go from oversteer to understeer.... NO!

I have the Tein streets......... Honest evaluation. I would prefer the car to be around 120 kg heavier on the street with them... To make them ride more compliant.

And I wish the car was 300 kg lighter at the track to make them stiff enough for the track and a good go at it.

Most track days..unless you are a clubman are for finding yourself and learning the car...not racing. I know with bikes we have had to come down pretty hard of late with it...not sure the full reason why ???

Best set up I have been in was an M3 E46 with Ohlins. Not coilovers either. The two way valving on their dampers is to die for. Then you can adjust the bump and bound.. in turn a lighter or more variable spring rate..It's still not as good as how we can set up a bike or a race car. but you do really seem to notice the adjustments you make

Its just the standard ones are hammered, theyve copped alot, And I dont like the way it drives now compared to when I brought the car 20000kms ago, The car is about 30-40kg heavier in the front with all the extras.. Ive spent over 80k on the car so a worth wild suspension setup to help it go down the 400 meters with the suspension doing its little part as it will run 150mph there abouts,

And also something I can adjust so it drives smooth on the rd with the right tyres, keeping in mind its got 1000hp

So what suspension ?? lol

Might want to look at some 90/10's if you're running 9's lol. On the street if you're not phased you can get Boge replacement oem shocks, koni, bilstein or monroe gt sports

Depends what your bigger priority is, racing or driving. For racing ou'd need coilovers with the right springs rates and the ability to play with compression/rebound settings, not sure if either Tein or Pedders XA can do this. Probably best to have a chat to a reputable pedders shop that might have a better idea with the XA's or better yet speak to a pro. There are double adjustable shock setups you can use too like QA1 which a friend of mine got working well in his vl I think McDonalds bros did it for him http://www.qa1.net/qa1_motorsports/drag-and-street/shocks-and-struts/custom-mount-shocks/proma-star/double-adjustable.html
