Agree , before I got the F6 , I was like 'a six' not me, I heading straight for the eight. Yet, my son was persistent and asked that I not purchase the eight until I drove the F6. I did , and like a smoker who finally kicked the habit I have been spreading the word telling all who will listen - why the turbo is the way to go ..Well that is until Ford brought the Supercharger to the common man. As we all known whom have driven the turbo - it's power is electric , and when you walk to just drive and follow the flow, it drives like no other normal six cylinder . I love the F6 as I do the GT. I want to remain stock , and the decision remains difficult. I am not going to worry to much about which one - until I have sold the old girl. I guess I should add - if as I expect , by the close of 2012 , I will expect that there will be - better than $10k difference between the two , in favour of the F6 , so that is going to make the decision harder . Many thanks for your thoughts - much appreciated and welcomedRoss Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80959-decisions-decisions-fpv-gt-or-fpv-f6/page/3/#findComment-1270973 Share on other sites

And was pricing and fuel consumption an issue / influence factor in your decision? Again many thanksRoss Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80959-decisions-decisions-fpv-gt-or-fpv-f6/page/3/#findComment-1270978 Share on other sites

I have done suspenion work though.Purchase price and fuel economy wasnt really a factor in buying the F6, as I had just sold my nicely modded EVO X which was crap on fuel LOL.Main reason for buying a large car is I wanted something roomy and still quick for when I want to go for a sunday morning blast... The much better fuel economy is just a bonus, although insurance is higher with the F6 compared to my old modded evo.
